14mercy: Bio
NNMaddox - Artist, Producer, CEO of 14mercy
NNMaddox has accomplished more in his 25 years than most do in a lifetime. Starting with his high-school acoustic-metal band The Abandoned Nutsack, NNMaddox has used unorthodox ways to promote his music.
After releasing three albums and an EP with The Abandoned Nutsack, Maddox formed Georgia Home Boy, with Goth Rock star Todd Zombie, the legendary poet Jimmy Haig and Cut Off, Louisiana's own Reverend Ezell Jenkins.
The massive underground success GHB achieved after releasing four full-length albums (and later a "lost" LP), was cut short after Haig committed suicide on November 15, 2001.

Maddox then took a year-long break from music, trying to find new footing in an industry that had drastically changed since his Nutsack days. In early 2003, he began working with Charles Dysan, who had played keyboards on some previous albums by The Abandoned Nutsack.
After completing eight new songs, Maddox independently released
Long Island Baby on May 6, 2003.
Long Island Baby was a very Lou-Reed-Inspired indie rock/pop collection that is probably Maddox's most personal record to date. It was also done without the help of any professional recording equipment, which produces the grainy, stripped-down vibe.
Gateway To Cancer Alley followed in June 2004. This album was a return to Maddox's hard rock/metal roots. The blistering opening track "Cocaine Christmas" became an instant hit.
Maddox's sophomore album found him saying goodbye to his home in Louisiana, and progressing into a life in New York City, where he currently resides.
Pepper Shaker was released in January 2005 and is considered one of the greatest lo-fidelity recordings of all time. Inspired by his time spent in New York's Spanish Harlem,
Pepper Shaker spawned many down-and-out anthems.
With Motown and Prince influences evident,
Pepper Shaker showed a softer, more vulnerable side of the same man that brought bruising thrashers to the table with
Cancer Alley.
2005 was the most productive year for NNMaddox not only as the executive producer of 14mercy, but also as a solo artist.
Rainbow Kaleidoscope was released in November 2005.
This time a more polished and skilled NNMaddox gave us a psychedelic twist on simple pop songs. The results were astonishing. The album featured 16 songs, more than his first two albums combined, and showcased a more guitar-driven formula missing on his previous efforts.
Today, you can find NNMaddox on the web by visiting his
Myspace Site and on his
official site.

Eyelashes Of Gina - Glam/Punk Girl Group

Eyelashes of Gina, henceforth to be known as EoG, came into being when lead singer Iana was spotted singing Bauhaus covers in a matinee idol style for her old band, Ethel Murphy. Her talent was striking and EoG simply had to have her. Before then Leah and Liz were struggling in an electro-pop duo - with only bass and drums at hand they had come to a crashing halt and needed new blood. They spotted Iana in Vegas, singing as support for Big Elvis at the Barbary Coast hotel and approached her offering fame, fortune and the chance to become the final third of the EoG plan for world domination.
Ringworm - 14mercy All-Star Band
Ringworm is a collection of amazing 14mercy artists that have joined forces for two bizarre tribute albums to teen-pop star Lindsay Lohan.
Their songs focus on Lohan-inspired themes, including the movies she has appeared in, and her two albums.
Ringworm is the most successful act on 14mercy to date, attracting the attention of fans from dozens of countries around the world. The band is comprised of NNMaddox, (H)aig, Erin Smogor, Mayumi, Nate, Mia, Charles Dysan, DartShimmercake, Stagger Lee, Todd Zombie, Reverend Ezell Jenkins and 50 Yen.

Jimmy Haig - Artist, Producer-New Orleans, LA
James P. Haig was born in 1961 in Findlay, Ohio. His early years were spent in various foster homes after his parents abandoned him in 1967. They have not been heard from since.
During one stay at a foster home in 1975 in Cut Off, Louisiana, Haig was introduced to an eccentric minister named Ezell Jenkins. Jenkins took the teenage Haig under his wing and began to tell him the importance of being "eloquent and well-versed." Haig admired Jenkins because of his brash, no-holds-barred attitude and a musical career in the mid-late 1950s as a member of the moderately sucessful jazz quartet The Jenkins Bros.
Haig began peforming and publishing his works in 1982. Below is a list of his works, all of which are now out of print.
Manifesto 1 1982
Manifesto 2 1984
The Enlightened Clipboard 1986
Oh! The Horrors 1988
Phillip's Glass Organ 1991
Hey Fuckhead! 1994
Nosferatu's Melody (cassette only) 1997
Experiment 1 2001 (unfinished)
In 1999, Haig began a friendship with NNMaddox, who had formed the art-rock band Georgia Home Boy with Todd Zombie. Reverend Jenkins, whom Maddox had also befriended in the early 90s, completed the GHB lineup.
On November 15, 2001, Jimmy Haig was found dead with a dull kitchen knife plunged deep into his chest. His death ended Georgia Home Boy.
In July of 2003, NNMaddox met with Haig's widow, Geneva Haig, who unearthed dozens of unfinished writings and recordings. Maddox completed 22 tracks, using guest vocalists and musicians and on December 30, 2003 released
POEMS FOR GIRLS THAT STRAIGHT UP REJECTED ME

Mike Macharyas - Artist-Pittsburgh, PA
Mike Macharyas is a man of few words. Those few words show gigantic and impressive results though. After appearing on the classic Jimmy Haig tribute album POEMS FOR GIRLS THAT STRAIGHT UP REJECTED ME, NNMaddox asked for a repeat performance of his unique style of repetition on the track "David Bowie."
What followed was album after album of the same old song and dance, but unique in its own special way. July 2004 saw the release of Avril Lavigne.
The fluke sucess led to Maddox scrambling to locate Macharyas to record followups. And record he did. Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff, Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles soon followed. The albums not only matched the success of his debut, but greatly exceeded it.
In late 2005, Maddox put together a mashup album, Fall Out Boy Vs. My Chemicals Romance featuring guest vocalists Erin Smogor, Todd Zombie, Mayumi, and (H)aig.
Mike Macharyas has recorded 10 more albums, all of which will see the light of day in 2006.

factor(x) - German Electronic Band
factor(x) is a German electronic-pop band currently residing in New York City, under the strict supervision of legendary producer NNMaddox. Kein, Steif, Franziska and Jorg as a cohesive unit create some of the most thought-provoking, inspiring soundscapes with simplistic, yet brilliant lyrics.
After a demo tape consisting of songs about math and science landed on NNMaddox's desk, the indie icon knew exactly what to do. He immediately flew the German quartet to New York and began working on a full-length LP.
Thirteen songs later, operation paperclip was born. With a mixture of Kraftwerk and Brian Eno-influenced tracks, and sounds that have never before been heard, the album could only fit into one completely new genre: Metamorphic Rock.
"This is the age of artificial life form dreams," exclaims Kein in a robotic tone on "Push My Buttons." It is clear that something new has set foot on the musical world, something you may not be ready for.
Pi, Pythagoras, obtuse angles, remote controls and Alexander Graham Bell may not be typical topics in music today. But factor(x) is no typical band. Relying mostly on synthesizers, percussion and analog drum machines, factor(x) brings excitement to a music industry that desperately needs originality.
NNMaddox's wonderful production brings together the raw power of the band. He polishes a diamond in the rough to create the newest sensation in the 14mercy army, factor(x).

Jade St. Pierre - 14mercy Artist
Jade St. Pierre is an actor and musician. He has contributed to two 14mercy promotional releases, 2004's Chin Ups, and The Jimmy Haig Experience's "My Art" single.
He is currently working on his debut album, which will be released in the Spring of 2006. An eleven-song demo recorded by St. Pierre has been floating around collectors' circles for the past year,
You can hear some of that demo on his official Myspace page.
